In order to popularize the national traditions, on November 4 of this year, with the support of KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim", the apparatus of the akim of the Karaganda region, the regional Polish society "Polonia" conducted the republican hearing of the participants of the contest "KRESY-2017".

The participants came from the cities of Astana, Almaty, Kokshetau, Temirtau, settlements Chkalov, Shortandy, Pervomayka, Zhanashir, Tayinshi. 43 candidates competed in the art of recitation of Polish poetry. While the jury was faced with a difficult job to choose the most worthy of the three age groups, the guys went with their guardians to the play "Princess of the Circus".

The holiday ended with the announcement of the names of the most distinguished participants and the delivery of awards and diplomas. The ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Astana, Selim Hazbievich, presented beautiful backpacks for the youngest participants and for those who will go to the finals of the contest in the city of Belchatow in Poland.
