From Germany, we are transported vehicles, special equipment, equipment and spare parts, and in the opposite direction, exported the aluminum alloys. In Pavlodar region there are more than 50 joint ventures with Germany, engaged in the production of metallurgy, construction industry, food industry, trade and other spheres. One example is ‘’Giessenhaus’’ LLP, which is implementing a project for the production of aluminum products. We invite businessmen from Germany to consider the Pavlodar region as a production site for entering the markets of Central Asia and the Middle East. The developed transport infrastructure allows us to talk about the significant transit potential of the region. In addition, our region borders on with several regions of the Russian Federation.
The ambassador of Germany in Kazakhstan said that within two days he had already walked around Pavlodar and met representatives of the German diaspora. He noted that many representatives of the diaspora conduct business in the Pavlodar region - it is a definite plus, because exactly these people could become a kind of bridge between potential investors from Germany and local authorities. In addition, Rolf Mafael inquired about the fate of the former Pavlodar Tractor Factory, saying that major equipment manufacturers like John Deere and Claas could support the project of renewal the tractor construction in the region.
"Of course, if such large producers will work here, we will be happy to find for them a site in the free economic zone and, if necessary, in the territory of the former tractor factory," Bulat Bakauov replied. "We are very interested in this and we are ready to consider all options related to machine building in our region."
The guest noted that he liked Pavlodar, and promised to come back here again.
