Craftsmen Union of Applied and Decorative Arts under the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan of Akmola region summed up the results of the distance competition "Menin Elim" among youth, organized in the framework of "Ruhani zhangyru" programme.

Pupils and students of educational institutions of the region presented more than 90 papers for the competition.

The competition aims to promote the activities of masters of folk arts and crafts, support young talents, instilling and strengthening of Kazakhstan patriotism.

According to the results of the competition, the third place was awarded to students of junior level of Extracurricular Work Centre "Aulet" Gulnaz Mukisheva and Yasmin Tokasheva with the application "Yurt", student of school No. 6 of Kokshetau Sabina Zhunis, student of school No. 8 Daria Eroshkina, student of Zhunissov school No. 18 Aiganym Sagatay.

The eagle of liberty that is made using molding by six-year-old Daniyal Alimtaev of multidisciplinary gymnasium No. 5 "Tadau", colorful souvenirs of the student from S. Zhunissov school No. 18 Beibarys Kaukenov and No. 21 Tamirlan Shakhmetov brought young participants to the second place.

11-year-old Lilia Laktyushina from the main secondary school No. 15 of Chaikino Village with a tapestry "Caravan" and 13-year-old Alexandra Kalyuzhnaya from school No. 8 of Kokshetau with the diptych "No future without the past" became the winners with the unanimous decision of the competent jury.

All winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from the management of "Kogamdyk kelisim" KSI and Craftsmen’ Union of arts and crafts at the regional Assembly.
