The Constitution - this is the basic law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it was adopted on 30 August 1995 on a national referendum. This day is a public holiday - the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In honor of the upcoming holiday - the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan 24 August 2016 on the basis of "House of Friendship - Center of public consent"of Almaty region under the chairmanship of the Director of the House, T.Kasymberkebaeva the regional forum "Ata zanym - Aibyn" has been held.

The forum was attended by chairmen and activists of ethno-cultural associations of the region, intellectuals, military personnel, Council of Elders members, Council Of Mothers Under The Assembly Of People Of Kazakhstan members, members of the club "Parasat" at the regional APK, scientific development and production centers’ leaders, media representatives.

The festive event was opened with the Hymn of the Republic of Kazakhstan executed by the brass band of the military unit № 21751. Surabaldinova Saul, Chief Specialist of the secretariat of the APK in Almaty region, made a report, highlighting the history and stages of adoption of Constitution of RK. Her speech followed a touching performance of a member of the Council of Elders "Ulagat" at APK, Galina Chernikova.

The next speaker was the Head of Department on law-consumer education and legal services for people of Justice Department of Almaty region, Aitzhamal Shegebaeva, who spoke about the work of the regional offices and public services rendered.

The chairwoman of Council Of Mothers in Sarkand district, Esbala Sudurbaeva spoke about the role of the Council in maintaining social units, such as family. Thanks to the wise mothers and mediation procedure they were able to save 8 marriages from divorce. According to her, the work in this direction will be continued. Natalia Belik Chairwoman of the Youth Association "Birlik" talked about successes and achievements of independent Kazakhstan. She noted that a peaceful and quiet life, growth of Kazakhstan authority in the international arena is based on a legal basis defined by the Constitution. The next word was given to Ermek Kelemseit, respected Aksakal, chairman of the Veterans Council of Almaty region who congratulated all participants and guests of the forum with the forthcoming Constitution Day. Each speaker followed his or her presentation with kind and sincere congratulations.

Twenty one year ago multinational people of Kazakhstan in keeping with the best democracy traditions, unanimously called for the adoption of a new constitution - the Basic Law, according to which our sovereign state is dynamically developing.

- Large-scale reforms implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan during the years of independence on the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the level of development in all spheres of social life, high international recognition, convincingly confirm that the Constitution is a solid core of socio-political, socio-economic and cultural transformations. The Basic Law plays the role of guarantor of the rights and freedoms of the citizen in everyday life, provides all the necessary conditions for its harmonious development, - summed up the work of the forum the director of "House of Friendship - Center for public consent" T.Kasymberkebaev.

The forum ended with announcement of results of republican action "Road to school". As a part of campaign school uniforms, school supplies were purchased for 11 children from low-income families at the expense of funds raised (163 000 tenge) on behalf of the ethno-cultural associations and the "House of Friendship - Center for public consent". Director presented letters of appreciation to particularly distinguished activists and wished them further success in their work.

The event ended by bright concert of creative collectives of ethno cultural associations of the region.
