Every year at the end of May, teachers of the Sunday school of the German Public Association "Wiedergeburt" in Semey hold an event for their students in honor of the end of the school year.

   This time, the graduates, together with their trainee teacher Christina Golubeva, demonstrated their level of German and remembered the traditions of German festivals - the knowledge gained during weekly classes and numerous thematic and festive events held by Wiedergeburt Association. 

It should be noted that, despite their young age, many of the students have already participated in various festivities on an urban scale. The exhibition of handicrafts of students, made at the entertaining lessons "Basteln" (creative skills) was organized under the guidance of Victoria Sheveleva.

The vocal group with the support of the musical director Oksana Fomina and young spectators performed funny songs in German. The most exciting event was the awarding of certificates for achievements in the study of language, traditions and creative successes.

Not all students said goodbye until September. In June, they will meet again at Wiedergeburt Linguistic Site of the Friendship House, where they will improve their language skills, engage in creative work and study folk dances and songs for two weeks.

There will also be hiking in the hometown, hiking in nature, attending exhibitions and shows.

“We start introducing children with the activities of society from an early age, and then they gradually move on to teenage projects and youth club” said methodist of "Wiedergeburt" Olga Beder.

The last bell for middle and youth groups of Sunday school will be held with visit to the pine forest.
