Today September 16, 2015,in Astana, the representatives of the metropolitan media discussed actual topics of media and position of journalists in covering aspects of ethnic. The theme of the training was designated as "Formation of culture for publication of interethnic relations in media".

The program of the training seminar was attended by speakers and experts:

Bashmakov A.A. – the member of the Council of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, the member of the SEG of APK, PhD; Sadvakasova A.K. - Head of the Center for Interethnic and Interconfessional Studies in Central Asian Region under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Social Sciences; Salimbayev A.A. - Director of "Fund of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan" Public Fund; Pavlov V.M. - head of Media analysts and legal assessment department of "Center for information and analysis" RSI, Ismailov Sh.A. – the Chairman Kyrgyz ECA; Samuratova N.B.-Head of Press Service of "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" Republican state institution under the President of RK.

Seminar participants discussed effectiveness of informational support in implementation the "Plan of nation - 100 specific steps", "On correct use of terms in the field of interethnic relations" as well as the implementation of cooperation projects with ethnic media. Interesting facts were made about violations of the legislation of Kazakhstan in covering ethnic themes, unfortunately, there is no legislation in this case. The seminar participants decided to organize training on interethnic theme more often of and work out the guidelines for journalists.
