Opening of the international youth camp "BIRLIK-EDINSTVO.KZ" on August 23 in the city of Uralsk West Kazakhstan region, took place with the participation of ethnic and cultural unifications and youth organizations under the auspices of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the camp - formation of the universal values in the youth, upbringing feelings of patriotism and respect, strengthen the Kazakhstan identity and unity, as well as instilling a culture of communication between the youth of the bordering countries and cooperation with Kazakhstan diaspora abroad.

The opening event was attended by deputies of the Majilis in Kazakhstan Parliament, Gennady Shipovskih and Natalia Dzhumadildaeva, Deputy Akim of West Kazakhstan region, Marat Tokzhanov, young people from the border areas of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russian Federation, members of the RYO "Zharasym" and representatives of the republican ethno-cultural associations, of the Office of youth welfare department in WKO, the youth wing "Jas Otan" in WKO, youth NGOs, young professionals from Houses of Friendship, lecturers, experts and methodologists.

Deputy akim of West Kazakhstan region, Marat Tokzhanov mentioned during his speech: "We are very pleased that young people from all over the republic and neighboring countries gathered today in our country. We border on the five other regions and in our region there are more than 80 representatives of different ethnic groups, more than 40 ethno-cultural organizations contribute to the promotion of Kazakhstan patriotism, the Kazakhstan model of interethnic harmony and stability. "

Deputy of the Majilis Gennady Shipovskih noted the importance of such activities. "Through young people, listening to the aspirations of the younger generation we can make laws to protect their interests. To do this, such workshops are need, and it is lso very touching that young people are not indifferent to the future of their country, meeting with their peers from other countries, they share experiences, talk about their achievements, which are continuously connected with the achievements of the country ", - he said.

The head of the Kyrgyz delegation Nurgul Kadirkulova thanked the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan region for the warm reception and wished good luck in the work of the camp.
