This year is full of festive dates. The 20th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan celebrates this year. Only recently we celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, where veterans were rendered honors. In honor of these holidays a traditional Korean children festival hosted. It was organized by Kazahstani Koreans Association, Karaganda branch and  supported by "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" municipal government agency.  At this annual festival of art Korean nationality children, residing in the territory of our region sing songs in their native language and dance traditional dances. The other children who sing songs in Korean also can participate. At first children pass trough qualifying rounds in all schools, distinguished themselves are invited to participate in the regional festival. The purpose of the festival - to influence on Korean children in learning their native language and national traditions.

Thus, the festival began. Kazahstani Koreans Association, Karaganda branch chairman Lilia Kim congratulated all  with this event, then she handed anniversary  medals dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan to active members of the Korean ethnic cultural  association. This honor was awarded to chairman of "Ekozhan" production association, Karaganda branch Yuri Lee, Kazahstani Koreans Association, Karaganda branch deputy chairman  Boris Kim. Also, Tatiana Lee, Xenia Ten, Hannah Lee, Daria Kim, Kim Glafira Korean nationality veterans of Kazahstani Koreans Association, Karaganda branch were presented by letters of thanks.

17 young singers were invited at scene. Chevalier of "Parasat ", cultural active  Rymbala Omarbekova was chosen as chairman of jury. Festival participants were divided into three groups. In the first group - primary school children, the second group pupils of 5-9 classes, and the third group - teenagers from high school. Five children from the first group sang songs. The turn of the second group. "Balausa" trio and five children from second group showed their perfomance. In the third group performance started "Miras"  vocal group, then 7 girls and boys turn up on the scene. They all sang their songs and showed their abilities.

Thus, after all the participants festival result summed up and the names of the winners announced. Among primary school pupils first place took №93  gymnasium student Yulia Pak, in second place - №101  school-lyceum student Valeria Lee, the third - №92  gymnasium student Timur Ten. In the middle group first place - trio  "Balausa", second and third places were taken by Son Mi and Yong Sim, from Temirtau. In the third group first place took Dauletbaeva Gulzar, from Temirtau. Second place was awarded vocal group "Miras".

All winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.
