On the occasion of Kazakhstan People's Languages Day, ​​faculty and students of Pavlodar state university named after S. Toraigyrov discussed the role of language in the formation of the national unity and preserving social harmony.

As you know, this holiday was established in 1998 and is celebrated on 22 September.

Conference waas organized by the activists of the Student Assembly of "Birlik" and Chair of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

The main goal of the socio-scientific conference was to popularize polylinguism among students, as well as the promotion of the state language policy.

Honorary guests of the event were members of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, teachers of the school of national revival named after K. Darzhuman, specialists of multilingual education center of Pavlodar State University, as well as members of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan.

On behalf of the APK regional presentations were made by the teacher of the Tatar-Bashkir Branch Roza Serasshetdinova. In her speech, Rosa Nurievna noted the need to study their native language regardless of their place of residence, and stressed that such events contribute to the development of cultural and linguistic diversity.
