On January 28, 2011 was adopted and on August 5 enacted a law "On Mediation". The formal adoption of the law was preceded by extensive preparations and research work. It took Kazakh scientists and legislators more than a year to analyze and summarize the foreign jurisprudence to study the possibility of using mediation in the specific conditions of the multinational country, which declared the construction of a legal state with a developed civil society.

Today in our region, as well as in all the regions of Kazakhstan, was held a Republican campaign, - "Mediation Day ". The organizers are the regional secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Mangistau regional court and KSU "Kogamdyk kelіsіm", Mangistau region akim apparatus.

The grand opening took place in the building of the House of Friendship with the participation of professional and non-professional mediators, representatives of ethno-cultural associations. During the day was conducted the reception of citizens in the mediation office, invited mediators held a free consultation and case trainings for the visitors.

This event was held to promote the development institution of mediation of ANC activities, the development of public culture for solving disputes and conflicts in the pretrial order. Mediation can be used not only in criminal proceedings, and other areas of jurisdiction, but also in the civilian sector of society.

Among the speakers were: Mangistau regional court judge Imangalieva GM, akim advisor, professional mediator trainer Trifonov V., the head of public association ''Tugan el" and professional mediator Kemeladinova A.E.
