August 7, 2015 at 10.00 in Astana, in the conference room "Parliament" (Duman hotel, 2a, Korgalzhyn highway), the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" RSI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "Public Opinion" Research Institute complete the work of the meeting of the Center for mediation for conflict prevention and resolution.

Recall that the foreign and local experts, representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office, Supreme Court, Ministry of Justice and other concerned government agencies discussed the purpose of meeting - creation of specific mechanisms to the Assembly of the people Kazakhstan - Mediation Institute, under the APK in order to strengthen social harmony and creation of the School of mediators, cooperation government agencies that use mediation in matters of public consent.

Deputy Chaiman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov took part the in the plenary session on the theme "Mediation - as an institution of social cohesion and the strengthening of civic identity". In his speech Yeraly Lukpanovich stressed the active role of Kazakhstan in the prevention and resolution of disputes and disagreements, both at regional and international levels, where the Institute of Mediation in the APK will be a real tool in addressing issues in the sphere of interethnic relations.

The event was attended by international experts, mediators, leading scientists from Bulgaria, Spain, Russia, the deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, representatives of government agencies, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, experts "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" RSI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of mediation centers in Kazakhstan, members of the Scientific expert council and scientific and expert groups of  APK, representatives of the regional council of public agreement under the APK, the council of mothers of APK, the departments of the APK and media.

During the meeting held the round table "Kazakhstan and international experience in the institutions of mediation. The role of public organizations". "It is no coincidence that Assembly of People of Kazakhstan addresses issues of mediation, it is a constant rhythm of our lives. Visiting the region, we often have to solve a variety of issues, preventing a variety of contradictions, both domestic as well as economic, family, age misunderstanding. We have the resources to it, and the main one is our unity and understanding of the value of peace in the ethnic sphere ... "- said the deputy of the Mazhilis Ahmet Muradov.

During the event there was presentation of the book "Mediation. Training handbook " of Doctor of Political Sciences, professor at Sophia University named after K.Ohridskiy, external expert of APK Tatiana Dronzina.

By results of the meeting signed Protocol of intentions between the Institute of peace and conflict of the University of Granada (Spain)  “Kogamdyk kelіsіm” RSI under the President of RK.

As a result of training seminars the participants were awarded international certificates.

The partners of the meeting were Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
