A science conference "National historical memory - the basis of spiritual modernization", devoted to May 31 – Remembrance Day of Political Repressions and Famine Victims was held in the House of Friendship of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Kyzylorda region.

Conference by an exhibition of books and archival documents "Memory for future".

The participants of the conference spoke about the necessity of a balanced approach from the point of view of the epoch of our time to the mournful period of the years of disaster and to draw correct conclusions.

During the conference within the framework of the action "The invaluable gift" which is one of the important events of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, valuable books of regional assembly have been transferred to library of an exhibition hall "President and Independent Kazakhstan" at Department "Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University.

The conference continued with the demonstration of the short documentary film "To Remember" by Teleradiocomplex of the President of the RK.
