On September 7 to 9 in Taraz was held a regional seminar on the promotion of Kazakhstan's model of peace and harmony. In the Palace of youth of Dulati Taraz State University gathered public workers from the sphere of interethnic and interfaith relations, as well as representatives of the civil sector of Zhambyl region.

The seminar was organized by the Republican State Institution "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Zhambyl region.

According to Deputy Director of RSE "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" under the President of Kazakhstan, Talgat Zhakianov said: "The main objective of this workshop is to improve the professional knowledge and skills of students on issues of social cohesion and stability within the framework of the Nation's Plan "100 concrete steps". Also, the lecture will be held in the framework of the seminar, trainings and workshops".

During three-day seminar were addressed the issues on implementation of the state ethnic policy, strengthening social cohesion and unity of the people of Kazakhstan, mediation, regulation of migration processes, preventing and combating religious extremism and terrorism, etc.

The lecturers of the seminar were representatives of the Assembly Secretariat, the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Ministry of Education and Science, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, members of the ANC RV and public figures.

At the end of the seminar all participants were awarded with certificates.
