Under celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in West Kazakhstan region, the relay race of the national expedition "By First President's Way" has started. Uralsk citizens passed the baton to Akzhaik region.

The ceremony of relay transfer took place on five dialogue platforms in format 'Hakaton', where the chairmen and active members of ethno-cultural associations, who have brought the contribution to the work of Assembly, exchanged opinions on actual questions within the limits of the declared theme: "Role and Features of the Modern Head of State, His Contribution to Education of Young Generation".

Active members of the Council of Public Accord of WKR APK of Uralsk and Akzhaik region gathered at the first dialogue platform. At the meeting chaired by Mikhail Mozzhukhin, Chairman of the Public Accord Council of Uralsk, the role of the Public Accord Councils in solving complex problems in the society, interaction between civil society institutions and government bodies, public control over the implementation of measures of social and economic development by government bodies were discussed.

Meanwhile, at the second dialogue platform, active members of the Council of Aksakals of Uralsk and Akzhaik district discussed the topic "Ata Soz - Bata Soz" with the aim of promoting national traditions and customs, fostering respect for the older generation, respect for faith, justice and morality. The meeting touched upon the main directions of upbringing of the young generation, the reasons and consequences of reducing the role of the older generation in the society, the role of aksakals in forming the institute of family, solving problems in the society.

On the third dialogue platform the active members of the Council of Mothers conducted the informative meeting, devoted to the discussion of work and questions, put by the Head of the state in the Message to the people of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan Way - 2050: Common Goal, Common Interests, Common Future" and program "Ruhani Zhangyru".

During the event, issues related to the preservation of family values, the development of the family institution, the prevention of divorce, the identification of gifted children living in rural areas, the provision of social support to large and poor families, the reduction of dependency, the role of the Council of Mothers in the comprehensive development of volunteerism and charity, national education in the formation of young people, and the prevention of domestic violence against children and women were discussed, as well as the preparation of methodological guidelines.

On the fourth dialogue platform, ethno-cultural associations of WKO discussed the contribution of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the results achieved today. With the purpose of creation of atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect among representatives of other nationalities, chairmen and active members of ethno-cultural associations of Uralsk and Akzhaik region, members of scientific-expert group, representatives of state bodies told about creation of circles, sections, the centers on preservation of historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of all ethnoses living in regions.

They also discussed the issues of activation of courses on studying Kazakh and native languages at ethnocultural associations, further development of the Assembly Institute and the Head of State's policy on strengthening public harmony and unity.

On the fifth dialogue platform active public mediators of regional APK exchanged opinions on a theme "Mediation and Debates: Points of Contact". According to Head of Reconciliation Center, Alua Rakhisheva, "People cannot resolve a dispute by agreement and are not aware of the ways of reconciliation. Today, mediators and lawyers are working separately, there are no common efforts to resolve undisputed disputes, and there is no common dialogue platform for resolving citizens' controversial issues. Lawyers prevent mediators from reconciling the parties. These facts were put forward for discussion of mediators and recommendations were adopted".

On the fifth dialogue platform active public mediators of regional APK exchanged opinions on a theme "Mediation and Debates: Points of Contact". Meanwhile, the Palace of Culture in Akzhaik District hosted a festive concert programme by Uralsk artists.

"Zhuban Moldagaliyev is one of the founders of the Kazakh people. Next year we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Zhuban. The main value is the unity of the nation and our task is to preserve and multiply them," said Uralsk Deputy Mayor Bakhytzhan Narymbetov, ending the baton.
