Mangistau Summer Reading Room held a seminar on the theme "rest in summer, do not forget to read!" among the representatives of the youth organization "Jas kanat" Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and pupils of "Alau" Children's Health Center in Mangistau region universal library. This event was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the framework of the "Myn Ball" project.

The event began with a joint performance of the anthem of Kazakhstan. Around 50 camp inmates and 10 "Jas kanat" volunteers youth organization attended the library for more in-depth acquaintance with the history of our Republic.

Librarian Doskaliyev Asiya Nutanovna held a presentation of "Kazakhstan Respublikasynyn Teuelsіzdіgі" fairgrounds, as well as spoke about the stages of the progressive, dynamic development of independent Kazakhstan, about the history of the formation of the young sovereign republic, the development of state for the last 25 years. Encouraging young people to visit library regularly.

In the end of the event the staff of KSU "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" and akim of Mangistau region held a quiz "question-answer" among children and youth. The questions addressed the topic of independent Kazakhstan, important historical facts of the country formation. Participants who answered correctly were presented gifts, hats and t-shirts with the logos of the ANC and the Republic of Kazakhstan Independence 25th anniversary.
