October 5 the Eurasian National University of L.N. Gumilev hosted students' conference "The potential of young people in the development activities of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan." The purpose of this conference was to form a clear picture of Kazakhstan's policy in the sphere of interethnic relations, as well as propaganda of patriotic education and national identity among students. In addition, the conference was designed to help students to understand universal moral values, tenets of the Patriot Act "Mangilik El", the strengthening of social cohesion and national unity, spiritual and moral development of the young generation, youth demonstration projects in the sphere of interethnic relations.

The event, organized by the City Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the KSU «Kogamdyk kelesim» in Akimat of Astana city took part, pro-rector of ENU of L.N. Gumilev Dikhan Kamzabekuly, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of ENU of L.N. Gumilev Akbota Zholdasbekova, Head of the UNESCO Chair ENU of L.N. Gumilev Gadilbek Shalakhmetov, as well as students of universities and colleges of Astana, doctoral students and undergraduates, students of specialized courses in universities of Astana, the members of the youth wings of IVF.
