Mutual integration of the Turkic countries is relevant

NUR-SULTAN – Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan has received Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Kazakhstan H.E. Ufuk Ekiсi.

Turkey is one of the first countries to recognize the independence of Kazakhstan. In 1992, the two countries established diplomatic relations. The first Embassy of Kazakhstan abroad was opened in Ankara.

Kazakhstan and Turkey are strategic partners. There are many similarities and coincidences in the history, language and culture of the two countries.

"We are committed to multilateral cooperation in order to create a common sustainable future. Today, bilateral cooperation is developing dynamically, covering all areas of interaction," Tuimebayev said.

Our countries have positions in the world community. Kazakhstan and Turkey constantly support each other's international initiatives. In addition to the bilateral dialogue, both countries are implementing joint projects in the direction of multilateral partnership and on the platforms of the world community.

Turkey recognizes Kazakhstan's leading role in Central Asia and considers it an important partner in the region.

An urgent problem for both countries is the mutual integration of recognized countries. The main political organization for Turkic cooperation, the Turkic Council, was created on the initiative of the two countries. Today, the problem of strengthening and improving the effectiveness of international cultural and humanitarian ties in relation to the Turkic world is very important.
