December 22, 2015, in the building of the National Academic Library of RK solemn summing up of the republican cultural and educational project of the APK "Menin Shokanym", dedicated to the 180th anniversary Sh. Ualikhanov.

The event was attended by Deputies of the Mazhilis, members of APK, representatives of ethnocultural associations, winners and participants of the project, creative and scientific intelligentsia, librarians of Astana.

The Head of the Department of APK of ENU named after L.N.Gumilev, the member of APK Anatoly Bashmakov in his speech noted the importance of this project and aktuality of the project. "Today, in the framework of the Year of the ANC held an unusual, specific and spiritual event. Such projects form in people the best spiritual and moral qualities",- he said.

During the event, made the acquaintance with the works of the winners, were listen the opinions of experts and also there was presented thematic exhibition on the scientific heritage of Sh.Ualikhanov to the participants

Deputy Director of the Kazakhstan branch of the Moscow State University, Doctor of Philology, professor of "General Linguistics and Theory of Translation" of ENU Nursulu Shaimerdenova in her speech thanked the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan for the awesome competitionof project "My Shockan". According to her, participants work allowed to open a bright personality Shockan Valikhanov from different sides. "Peace will be when people will be friends and love eachother, also when they will know the cultural heritage and personalities that had once been outstanding representatives of their people", - she said.

As a result of the project competition "My Shockan" the winner of 1st place became a Methodist of Auliekol District Library Fatima Ismailova and deputy director on working with children of the State University "Auliekol District Library" of Kostanai region Lyudmila Danyluk.

The second place the members of the expert committee awarded to the Centralized Library System of Stepnogorsk.

Third place was taken by librarian CSL named after N.Ostrovskiy (Kostanai) Botagoz Dyusembaeva

At the end of the event there were awarded letters of thanks of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan.
