Republican historical-cultural expedition "ULY DALA ELI" dedicated to the 550 anniversary of Kazakh Khanate will be started in Astana on September 11, 2015 at 12.30 h. ("Kazakh Eli" square).

The purpose of the expedition - to strengthen Kazakh identity and national unity based on knowledge and promotion of historical-cultural and spiritual heritage of people of Kazakhstan.

The ceremony of theatrical start of the Expedition will be attended by Vice - Prime Minister of RK Berdybek Saparbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan - Head of the Secretariat of APK under the President Administration Yeraly Tugzhanov, public figure Myrzatai Zholdasbekov, Doctor of Historical Sciences Burkitbay Ayagan, Chairman of the Presidium of Kazakh Geographic Society Nurlan Abduov, deputies of Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK, members of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, representatives of ethnocultural associations, scientific and creative intelligentsia and youth.

Organizers of the expedition: Assembly of people of Kazakhstan with the support of regional akims and akims of Astana and Almaty cities, Ministry of Culture and Sports of RK, Ministry of Education and Science of RK, Ministry for investments and development of RK, "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" RSI under the President of RK.

The Assembly of people of Kazakhstan together with its partners organized republican historical-cultural expedition "ULY DALA ELI" in order to implement the provisions of Plan of nation - 100 specific steps.

Republican historical-cultural expedition "ULY DALA ELI" - one of the large scale socio-historical action dedicated to the 550 anniversary of Kazakh Khanate.

The expedition starts on September 11, 2015 in three cities simultaneously - Astana, Aktau, Pavlodar and will end in Taraz city, October 9, 2015.

The Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK, "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" RSI under the President of RK, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of RK, the Ministry of Education and Science of RK, the Ministry for Investments and Development of RK, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia, youth organizations , MASS MEDIA will take part in the expedition.

The partners for the expedition are: Kazakh Geographic Society, regional akimats, Astana and Almaty cities' akimats, "24 KZ» TV channel, Kazakh radio.

During the expedition will be a meeting with the population of the regions on the theme "MANGILIK EL MURATY - EL BІRLІGІ" dedicated to the implementation of the Plan of nation - 100 specific steps in the direction of "Identity and unity"; talks on the theme: "ZHER TARIKHY - EL TARIKHY " devoted to the origins of the state of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Khanate; "N.A. Nazarbayev’s Kazakhstani model of social cohesion and national unity" lecture-presentation; "TENDESSІZ SYI" action which provides donation of collection of books to the libraries, museums, located in cities, towns, villages along the route of the expedition.

"ULY DALA ELI" historical-cultural expedition dedicated to the 550 anniversary of Kazakh Khanate will be carried out on three conceptual foundations:

patriotic - people's love for the Fatherland, native land, consolidating spiritual values.

scientific and educational - organization of scientific and educational activities for the study of history of Kazakh statehood and historical-cultural heritage.

information - popularization and promotion of spiritual and moral values to strengthen Kazakh identity and national unity through leading national mass media (electronic and print), APK portal, G-Global platform, and others.

Routes of the expedition

1. The North and Central direction (Astana city – Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Kostanai, Karaganda, Zhambyl regions – Merke city - Taraz);

2. The Western and Southern direction (Aktau city, Mangistau, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan regions - Merke city - Taraz);

3. The Eastern and South-Eastern direction (Pavlodar city - Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Almaty regions - Merke city - Taraz);

4. Almaty city - Kaskelen - Kordai - Merke - Kulan - Taraz.

The highlight of the expedition will be organization of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan’s exhibition in Taraz city - "Tarikh tolkynyndagy Uly Dala" - "Great Steppe in the flow of the history". Edition of three-volume diary with written comments of participants will be the result of the Expedition.

The final event of the expedition dedicated to the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate, will be held October 9, 2015 in Taraz city.
