The Friendship House of Almaty hosted a round table on the theme: "The Constitution and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan are the foundation of stability, modernization and unity". Before the event, an exhibition of scientific works of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was organized in the hall of the Friendship House.

Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Igor Rogov addressed to the participants of the round table with welcoming words.

The member of the Constitutional Council, professors, doctors of juridical sciences spoke about the values of the Constitution as the guarantor of independent and prosperous Kazakhstan, constitutional bases of formation of the Kazakhstani identity, about the freedom of personality.

In turn, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of the President’s Executive Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan is inextricably linked by the Constitution and the creation of the APK.

"The adoption of the new Constitution and the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan will remain in the history of Kazakhstan as inseparable events, which predetermined the success in building an independent and prosperous Kazakhstan for many years.

The Constitution and the Assembly of People are two great values that have become the foundation of stability, modernization and prosperity.

The basic law of the country begins with the words "We, the people of Kazakhstan", which initially laid the idea of community of all citizens of the country," Tuimebayev said.

It is known that one of the fundamental principles of the Republic of Kazakhstan is public consent.

The equality of rights and freedoms of all citizens irrespective of their national belonging has been established.

Any action that may violate inter-ethnic and inter-confessional harmony is deemed unconstitutional.

"Thus, our country initially chose the path of creating a civil community with recognition of the diversity of cultures, languages and traditions of the people. Kazakhstan's identity is based on the establishment of common civil values, the system of equality of economic, social and cultural opportunities.

The Constitution of Kazakhstan, having absorbed the best world experience and practice, as well as historical and national traditions, serves as a solid foundation of the unity of the people and Independence of our state" Tuimebayev emphasized.
