September 13^th, 2015, the members of "ULY DALA ELI" republican historical-cultural expedition visited Tupkaragan district. They got acquainted with a number of attractions. The expedition started touring the region from the visiting the museum of Taras Shevchenko in Shevchenko Fort. Museum specialist Aigul Balabaeva told about the life of exiled poet and artist in details.

September 13^th, 2015, the members of "ULY DALA ELI" republican historical-cultural expedition visited Tupkaragan district. They got acquainted with a number of attractions. The expedition started touring the region from the visiting the museum of Taras Shevchenko in Shevchenko Fort. Museum specialist Aigul Balabaeva told about the life of exiled poet and artist in details.

Members of the expedition visited the park and the dugout where Taras Shevchenko wrote freethinking poems and drew beautiful nature of the region. Then the members of the expedition went to ethnography museum to see exhibited objects of Kazakhs’ everyday life and household items of Turkmen, Russian and other nationalities - the first settlers of Mangystau region.

After visiting the museums expedition went to solemn meeting at square near to Isa and Dosan batyrs’ monument. Akim of Tupkaragan district T. Asauov, Adviser of "Nur Otan" party of MRF Esbergen Inirbayev and the elders of the region congratulated participants with the 550th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate. Speakers talked about the statehood of Kazakhstan and stressed that the younger generation should know the history of their country.

Then the members of the expedition visited Kangy-baba tract and get acquainted with the historical legends of the district. The guide noted that the mausoleum and necropolis were included in the state list of historical and cultural monuments of local importance.
