The Uralsk House of Friendship held a seminar-meeting in Journalists' Club with the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan region on the theme "The role of media in the coverage of the Patriot Act" Mangilik El" and implementations of the 4th direction of "Identity and unity of the Nation Plan - 100 concrete steps".

The purpose of this activity was to define the tasks of journalists engaged in information support of the implementation of the Patriotic Act "Mangilik El" and the 4th direction of "Identity and unity" of the Plan of the nation "100 concrete steps" and to discuss the prospects of working with the participation of the journalist community area, media executives and representatives of NGOs .

The organizers of the event are the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the secretariat of the West Kazakhstan region and KSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim".

Presentations were made by the specially invited to the seminar-meeting leading expert of the Press Service of the ANC, candidate of philological sciences, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, known for simultaneous interpreting Kamal Abilkasymovna Alpeysova on the role of the media in the coverage of the state ethnic policy in the country. The speaker drew attention to the need of promotion a competent large-scale projects carried out by the ANC of journalistic ethics, the role of competence, knowledge, mastery of the media in the coverage of inter-ethnic relations.

In her speech, the deputy chairman of the regional ANC Gaisa Hamedollaevich Capac acquainted with the ANC of West Kazakhstan Region elaborated the topic under discussion, citing specific examples of activities of ethno-cultural associations of the region, drew journalists' attention to the issues of highlighting Patriot Act "Mangilik El" and implementations of the 4th direction of "Identity and unity" of the Plan of the nation "100 concrete steps."

Speaking at the seminar, General Director of "Zhayyk press" ZN Safiullin, Director General of the newspaper "News Informbirzha" S.P.Kulpin, director of the regional branch of RTRC "Kazakhstan" A.Z.Gubashev, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, NGOs and young people spoke on their contribution to the coverage of the topic, exchanging experiences and made suggestions for work promotion.
