Speech:

Dear Nursultan Abishevich,

Citizens participating in the meeting!

I would say the view of the Kazakh people before the publication of the article "A look into the future: the modernization of public consciousness" was one, after the publication is quite different.

At heart, each of us knew that the Kazakh society was in dire need of fundamental changes.

It was like waiting for this kind of awakening, inspiration. This far-sighted and complex program surpassed all our expectations.

Dear President, having provided with all complex measures of modernization of public consciousness, the revival of the Kazakh society you have indicated the way by illuminating it. I can say with certainty that the progressive ideas written in this article support the entire intelligent society.

If all the complex tasks that the decision could not find from the moment of independence is the modernization of public consciousness, then you are pointing the right path to the spiritual freedom of your people, nation, homeland.

Now in this constructive period of being close to you and supporting you are our duty.

In your article there is a demanding, but objective principle (rule): "It is important to concentrate, change yourself and, through adaptation to changing conditions, takes the best of what the new era carries in it."

Did the Great Khakim say to Abai: "If I had power in my hands, I would cut off the language to someone who insists that a person is incorrigible"? Every Kazakh now passes a period of capital change and modernization of consciousness and soul.

We are creative people very well understand that any Kazakh, like the nation as a whole, must have a set of qualities worthy of the XXI century and should develop.

You said that the first condition of modernization is the preservation of your culture, your own national code. These words are touched for the soul of every patriot. It means honoring the origin, passed down from generation to generation, not to lose dignity, bowing to national virtues. Now this is the time when you need to awaken the deeply hidden good qualities.

Dear President, we feel inspired and inspired by your article. You gave hope and faith to writers, poets, and composers alike.

Of course, we accept your offer to switch to the Latin alphabet. We know that the Latin alphabet, which came from ancient times, will fundamentally change our path.

Only the works that were written in the Cyrillic alphabet 80 years ago are suitable for the people. Only national books are subject to selection. Conservatives, accustomed to Cyrillic, do not think that we will lose interest in Russian culture. With the historically common destiny, the eminent people of the Russian people who created the eternal culture of Pushkin, Tolstoy, Turgenev, Yesenin and Yevtushenko will never be strangers to us. Most importantly, our hearts are open to worldwide common good deeds.

The article "Motherland" written by you will not leave us indifferent.

We must contribute to our ancestors through the veneration of today's culture and traditions of customs for the renewal of the ancient history of our Motherland. It's time to stop telling yourself I want to go to the village, put on a hat and climb a horse. Why be among the people who do not think to benefit their village.

Speaking about the book "100 New Names of Kazakhstan" we think that young people of this time will take an example from adults, they will support our national heritage.

Our folk tradition is to honor the elders and respect the adults. We need people who can help in difficult times, channel them in the right direction and be an example. The people who have elders saying "stop" and "hey" will never be lost. In this regard, the people will be pleased if the most worthy youth and figures will get their place in the society through laborious work on the ways of becoming independent.

No wonder it is said "If the country does not honor the hero, where to be the heroes who will think for the country."

Dear citizens!

Our president united the people. Now our goal is to translate this all into reality.

Thank you!
