Speech:
Dear Nursultan Abishevich!
Participants of the jubilee session!
Volunteering was always, albeit called differently. Its origins can be found in the ancient tradition of peoples, when assistance to the needy was completely disinterested.
Today, volunteers in Kazakhstan carry out a large and socially significant work.
This is help for lonely and elderly, orphanages. Volunteers are attracted to work in floods, searching for missing people.
Last year in 22 cities of Kazakhstan, volunteer organizations provided targeted social assistance to 590 veterans of the Second World War.
This household assistance in the household, minor repairs, the purchase of medicines, products and so on.
Popularity among the population was acquired by the project "Club of 28 loops". Volunteers knit and transfer woolen products for perinatal centers to newborns weighing 500 grams. This idea has united 1,300 people in 16 cities of Kazakhstan.
They have already tied up more than 20,000 caps, mittens, socks and vests.
I often ask how many volunteers are in Kazakhstan. I always reply that volunteering is a state of mind.
How can you count the good deeds and actions of people that are not spoken about!?
I think that our work contributes to the modernization of the mind.
Forms a national culture of mutual assistance, feelings of ownership.
Nursultan Abishevich!
Last year, you signed the law "On Voluntary Activities," which opens a new page in the development of volunteerism.
I am sure that more than 4000 volunteers from all over Kazakhstan will contribute to the organization of the International Exhibition "Astana EXPO-2017".
They will be attracted to the accompaniment of members of the delegation, translation activities, transport support, assistance in carrying out cultural events and much more.
I think that volunteers should be not only in the asset of the Assembly, but also in many public organizations.
Good, like any brand, it is necessary to promote.
I would like to see in our media more coverage of the activities of volunteers, the propaganda of good deeds.
In addition, as in other countries, they could be potential candidates for entering the civil service.
Nursultan Abishevich!
On behalf of the volunteers of Kazakhstan, I would like to express my gratitude to you for the continued support.
Your recognition is an incentive for every citizen of Kazakhstan to become a volunteer of the Motherland!
Thank you!
