According to the data of the IV quarter of 2018, there are 3,014 public consent councils of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, including 14 at the regional level, 1 in Astana, 1 in Almaty, 41 at the city level, 169 at the district level, 2,620 at the rural (village) level. 168 councils operate in enterprises.
The total number of members of the public consent councils at various levels is 25.093. The greatest asset of PCC is concentrated in villages and towns – 20 104, in cities-564, in district PCC – 2 631, regional-531, in enterprises - 1 263.
In general, Public Consent Councils of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan held 19 725 different events in 2018 covering 2 376 622 people.
During the year, 4 934 appeals of citizens were considered. Public Consent Councils of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan gave 1,928 recommendations to state bodies and civil society institutions. 1 559 of them were implemented.
Public Consent Councils are one of the most representative dialogue platforms in the regions where issues of concern to the population are discussed.
The councils of public consent of the regions at different levels implement social projects for effective public control. In Almaty-projects – "Future without barriers" and the introduction of pre-trial settlement of disputes (conflicts) by categories of disputes in mediation and public reception, in Atyrau region with the participation of PCC was organized school- theater "Talents without borders", in Karaganda region - "Employment-confidence in the future", in North Kazakhstan region – "Mystery shopper".
