EAST KAZAKHSTAN REGION - As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, an exhibition of literary and artistic creativity of the people of Kazakhstan is being held in Volkov Museum of Children's Literature of Eastern Kazakhstan of the Public Fund ‘Emerald City’.

The exposition presents materials of ethno-cultural centers of the regional House of Friendship - books, albums, printing products, as well as works of fine and decorative-applied art.

According to the organizers, the purpose of this exhibition is strengthening of ethnic consent of the Kazakhstanis. On the Gratitude Day, the museum exposition is supplemented with collages from the covers of Alexander Volkov's works, translated into German, Ukrainian, Polish, Belarusian, Vietnamese and other languages of the world.

The authors of the works are 3rd year students of Design department of K. Nurgaliyev College: Yana Kurkina, Irina Loginova and Ilya Petrov. The young designers were so fond of museum activities that they decided to help in the design and preparation for the publication of children's collection "Emeralds", which will include artworks of schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan region, written on the basis of fairy tales by the writer, a landlord A. Volkov.

At the same time, the children expressed their desire to become volunteers of the Emerald City public fund to contribute to the preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage of Eastern Kazakhstan, thereby supporting the volunteer movement of young people in the Year of Volunteers in Kazakhstan.
