November 13, 2017 in the State Puppet Theater of Almaty, the third annual Festival "Dostyk" was held, dedicated to the Day of the Disabled.

The event was attended by people with disabilities, their relatives, representatives of ethnocultural associations, youth and others.

Organizers: KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" Almaty akim, youth organization of disabled people "Sharapat" Voluntary Society of Disabled Medeu district.

Within the framework of the event, a festive concert was organized, at which creative teams of people with disabilities performed.

The event began with the opening words of the deputy chairman of the APK in Almaty - Mamsurova Kazbek Vladimirovich, Director of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" of the apparatus of Akim of Almaty city - Murunova Zhannat Sharapkhanovny, adviser to the akim of Almaty city on affairs of people with disabilities - Alaev Veniamin Yurievich, the head of the Society of the Disabled of Medeu district - Klimko Lyubov Kasymovna and the head of the Youth organization of invalids "Sharapat" - Mananbaeva Raushan Temirbekovna.

They greeted the audience and congratulated them on participation in the festival "Dostyk". The most important event for people with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan was the adoption in the country of the law on the ratification of the UNO Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. To date, access to education, employment for people with disabilities and their full participation in society, has a huge economic, social and political impact on the state and the individual.

Following the introduction began a festive concert, which were: members of the club "White Angel" from Talgar, singers and dancers of the Youth "Sharapat" organizations, the Center for social services, the pupils of the boarding school №1, gestural performed the song" Zhyregіm kazak " dance group "Arai" from the Boarding School № 5 and others.

After the beautiful performances, participants were rewarded with certificates, flowers and valuable gifts. At the end of the event, participants and spectators thanked the organizers for such a wonderful holiday.
