The festival "Chak-chak-bayramy" was founded on the world forum of Tatar youth in 2008 and since then it has been celebrated all over the world. Kokshetau was not an exception. Here, the chak-chak festival has become traditional and has been celebrated for 3 consecutive years on the initiative of the association of Tatars and Bashkirs of the Akmola region with the support of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" and Akmola Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

The chairman of the association Rafail Sulkarnaev does not hide his joy: it is gratifying that the holiday became popular far beyond the city of Kokshetau, which was confirmed by the arrival of guests from Stepnogorsk and Kostanay.

The program of the holiday is rich and diverse: tables are smashed of fragrant baking, the exhibition and sale of masters of the Association of Folk Decorative and Applied Creativity under the Akmola ANC is active, folk melodies are heard...

The concert program was opened by students of the College of Culture. Akana-seri with a unifying dance of friendship, and the hosts welcomed the audience in 3 languages: Kazakh, Russian and Tatar.

The folklore ensemble "Galiyabanu", the dance ensemble "Yashlek", the vocalists of ethnocultural associations of the region took part in the large cultural and entertaining program. All the performances united one thing: unlimited love for the common home-our homeland!

The program "Tatarochka-Kulinarochka" continued for the prizes of the Akim of the city of Kokshetau, KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" and famous family dynasties of the association of Tatars and Bashkirs of the Akmola region. No one was left without a present!

All present could enjoy a fragrant chak-chak, everywhere there was laughter and there were wishes: "Let your life be as sweet as our treats!"
