On October 3, in the assembly hall of KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of the akim of Pavlodar region there was an interactive platform on formation of anti-corruption culture in the youth environment. The event was organized by the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs in Pavlodar region jointly with the ANC of the region. It was attended by an active APK region, employees of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim", students of universities and colleges in the region, more than 150 people.

Corruption is a social phenomenon, consisting in the disintegration of society and the state, when civil servants, persons authorized to perform state and other administrative functions, use their official position, status and authority of the office in spite of the interests of the service for personal enrichment or in group interests.

At the beginning of the event, the youth of the regional APK expressed their idea and attitude to corruption with the help of theatrical sketches. In their performances, the theater studio "Faden" of the German society "Revival", the youth association of the Tatar-Bashkir and Slavic cultural center with the help of dramatizations about corruption in various spheres showed from the inside the feelings of a person, feelings in the commission of this crime and the deplorable consequences of their deeds.

The guest of the event was Baldzhin Ardak Anuarbekovich - head of the corruption prevention department of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs in Pavlodar region. He gave explanations on the main measures of counteracting corruption at the present stage and answered questions from youth. "Corruption is one of the main challenges of the current stage of Kazakhstan's development. That is why the main strategic document in our country "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy says: Corruption is a direct threat to national security and aims the state and society to unite efforts to combat it, "Ardak Anuarbekovich emphasized.

He also noted that the main principles of Kazakhstan in the fight against corruption are the principles of the inevitability of punishment and the rule of law. "It is especially important for us to form an anti-corruption culture among young Kazakhstanis. Not to be indifferent to the manifestation of corruption and to respect honest service to the state is our common task, he said.
