Ethno-cultural associations of the North Kazakhstan regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan have a very important role in preserving and strengthening public harmony in the region. They conduct activities aimed at popularizing their unique ethnic culture, introduce the people to the peculiarities of their way of life, life, traditions, rituals and holidays.

November 26, 2017 for the first time the public association "North-Kazakhstan Tatar-Bashkir Cultural Center "Duslyk "held a regional contest "Miss Tatarochka" among children from 5 to 10 years. All participants were amazed by their beauty, their talent, ability to stay on stage, creative and creative approach. For girls this competition became debut, so the event was very exciting and tremulous.

The main feature of the competition was a large number of participants - 19 contestants from the representatives of the Esil and Mamlut districts of the region, the cities of Petropavlovsk and Kokshetau. Despite this, the event passed in a single rhythm, in an atmosphere of joy, harmony and beauty.

The contest program included four stages: "Self-presentation", "Creative stage", "Culinary duel", "Beautiful Tatarochka", thanks to which the girls were able to reveal their potential and show creative abilities.

In the first stage, the girls told about themselves in different languages, presented a colorful presentation that characterizes their hobbies and hobbies, study, sports, family, friends and others.

The creative stage became the most vivid and interesting, in which contestants showed their artistic data: they sang songs in Russian, Kazakh, Tatar, danced, showed artistic and acrobatic numbers, told poems.

Stage "Culinary Duel", indeed, appeared a serious struggle, as the participants showed not only the knowledge of recipes and the ability to cook, they also skilfully presented their dishes.

"Beautiful Tatarochka" - this is the stage where the girls participated in the defile. Despite their children's age, participants, like professional models, gracefully defiled, endowing with charming smiles of spectators and jury members.

This competition is organized with the purpose of development and preservation of traditions, customs, culture of the Tatar ethnos, language, history, national cuisine. In addition, the event is aimed at creating an atmosphere of respect for girls, forming the image of "girl-girl-mother", cultivating a worthy image of the female ideal, harmoniously combining external beauty and moral and spiritual qualities.

At the end of the event the jury summed up the results of the contest. The title "Vice-miss Tatarochka-2017" was immediately received by two participants Matushkevich Venera from the city of Petropavlovsk and Usmanova Sufiya from the city of Kokshetau, the title "Miss Tatarochka 2017" was awarded to Iskindirova Sofiya, a contestant from the city of Petropavlovsk.
