On December 12 of the current year, a festive event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the library of the House of Friendship on the topic: "Tauelsizdik - tannin nuri" in cooperation with the regional society "The German Center "Wiedergeburt" and the Polish "Polonia" Society.

This event was attended by members of ethno-cultural associations and students 8 classes of school № 23.

The presenters congratulated all those present on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated annually on December 16.

With great interest, the students listened to the history of the struggle of Kazakhstan for its independence from the nomadic civilization and the radical breakdown of the foundations of life in the 20th century, and yet, finally, chose its own path of development. This way has made our country a democratic, secular, legal and social state, the highest value of which is man.

Kazakhstan proclaimed its independence by entrusting its destinies to Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, who became the first President of Independent Kazakhstan.

During the event, poems and songs were heard about Independent Kazakhstan, about the President, about the capital Astana, about friendship between the peoples living in Kazakhstan.

For the guys was held a contest-quiz for wit and wit "Do you know your homeland?". Winners were awarded memorable prizes from the organizers of the holiday.

We were shown videos "My Independent Kazakhstan", "Kazakhstan's capital Astana".

The festive event was held in an exciting positive atmosphere. In conclusion, the leading representatives of the school # 23 congratulated everyone on the holiday and wished the peaceful sky over their heads, friendship and harmony in our peaceful state.

Also in the library were book exhibitions "Elbasy-elimen birge" and "Otanim menin - Tauelsiz Kazakhstan".

The head of the library of the House of Friendship introduced the children to the novelties of literature.
