Department of "Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" and the NGO "Turkish culture" was held a round table on the topic "immortal pages of Yusuf Balasaguni creativity "

The round table was dedicated to the famous medieval thinker who observes the world in this year 1000 years since the birth.

Poem "Kutadgu bilig" is the only extant work of Yusuf Balasaguni. "Kutadgu Bilik" is the first encyclopedic work of the Turkic language. The poem is a philosophical work, which analyzes the meaning and value of human life, defines the responsibilities and rules of behavior in society. The author of the poem shows how should be not only the rulers but also the common people; what personal qualities they should possess.

Thus, the author of the poem has put forward in his work a number of the just demands to those in power: to be educated, to care for people, good to know literature and art. This work is not only a political treatise, but also it is the sum of knowledge in various fields of science and culture of his era.

During the round table have been covered such matters as: biography of the thinker, philosophical, educational, political and religious beliefs, the values of the poem as a literary monument to perpetuate the name of Yusuf Balasaguni in the names of settlements, streets, museum and monuments. During the event sounded Yusuf Balasuguni works in Kazakh, Russian and Turkish, as well as works of young kobyz players.
