Events of the annual International cultural project of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan “Conversations on Silk Road” started in the city of Balkhash.

In the framework of the Republican historical-ecological event “Sacred legacy – Uly Sala Eli” in the mountains Bektau-Ata, the participants laid flowers at the mausoleum of national poet and composer of Kazakhstan Shashubai Koshkarbayev also visited the ethno-village "Uly Dala orkenieti".

At the opening ceremony of cultural centre “Ruhani zhangyru” – youth co-working centre in M. Khamzin Palace of Culture, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan - head of the Secretariat of the APK of Executive Office of the President of Kazakhstan Leonid Prokopenko delivered speech. He noted the importance of outreach, study and implementation of the programme “Ruhani zhangyru”.

 “Today this programme forms the value basis of the unity of all the people of Kazakhstan. The President outlined six core values in this programme. Competitiveness, cult of knowledge, openness of consciousness, formation and strengthening of our national code are among them”, - Deputy head of APK said.

According to him, all these values provide Kazakhstan with an evolutionary rather than revolutionary way of development for many years. The unity of the people of Kazakhstan is the basis of all economic and political success of the country.

“Kazakhstan, contrary to the predictions of many international experts, who talked about the fact that our country is split along political sectarian lines, has preserved its unity and became the leader of the socio-economic development in the territory of the former Soviet Union. It is a huge success”, — L. Prokopenko said.

He added that the values embedded in the basis of the programme “Ruhani zhangyru” are proven by time and our history.

“Today, opening the first centre under the programme "Ruhani zhangyru", we are opening a new social lifts for young people, new opportunities for creativity and personal growth”, — head of the Secretariat of APK said and noticed that the programme is entirely addressed to young generation of Kazakhstan citizens.

The cultural project “Conversations on the Silk Road” is an intellectual platform that has been operating on the territory of Central Asia for 12 years and has united the elite of Central Asian States.

The initiator of the meeting was a cultural scientist and public figure Murat Auezov. The participants of the “Conversations” discuss the most pressing and common problems for all mankind at the same time.

 “We discussed the ways of development of Kazakhstan, the fate of Kazakhstan in the fate of world history, world politics”, — Deputy head of the Assembly said.

The discussion of the development of Kazakhstan in the context of the revival of the Silk Road in the XXI century as a new global reality is at the forefront.

“Together we will strengthen our unity, build our future, strengthen our national code, revive the national spirit, make Kazakhstan a prosperous and prosperous country”, — Leonid Prokopenko summed up and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the project in the city of Balkhash.
