PETROPAVLOVSK FESTIVAL "THE SONG WITHOUT BORDERS"

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 80th anniversary of the North-Kazakhstan region and Petropavlovsk Day, an International Festival "Song without Borders" were held.

The goal of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, is creation of an institution of cultural development and preservation of historical and cultural heritage of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.

The festival brought together friends from Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, and the areas of the North-Kazakhstan region.

The ensemble of the Cossack song "Dubrava" from the city of Chelyabinsk was remembered by spectators due to incendiary songs and dances. A vocal trio "YuGiS" surprised with a cappella performance of Russian folk songs. The youngest actress was Dean Diyarat from Ualihanovsk area. She performed songs in Kazakh: "Tugan jer - taғdyrym" and "Elіmnің zhүregі-Astana".

In total about seventy participants took part in the festival. Guests were delighted to congratulate the residents of the city and expressed their wishes.

Following the event, Deputy Mayor of the town Elena Ballo awarded the participants with diplomas and memorable souvenirs. The performance ended with national dance ensemble "Қuanamyn".
