As at the Ukrainian festival, lard was treated ...

In Kostanay on October 7, the 21st regional festival of Ukrainian creativity was held, which gathered more than 100 participants from all over the region.

This time the vocal and dance ensembles performed in the regional philharmonic society. E. Umurzakova, whose hall simply could not accommodate all those who came to the concert - people stood in the aisles, sat on the steps. On this day there were a lot of people wishing to join the Ukrainian culture, rich in bright, enchanting songs, fervent, dashing praises, comic humor.

- The festival of Ukrainian folk art has long been a visiting card of the regional Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, having more than 20-year history of its existence. Of course, this is a great service of the founder of the center, Andrei Mikhailovich Kirilyuk, who initiated the festival in 1997. His successor in 2008 was the President of "Kostanai Printing House", the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Kostanai and Aktobe oblasts Tarasenko Anatoliy Vladimirovich. Together with him, the great cultural work of the community has been borne by all these years by Frolova Lyubov Ivanovna, who not only is the deputy chairman of the Ukrainian ethno-cultural association, but the veteran "Harmony" and the vocal collective "Lira" lead the choir. By the way, more recently, two of these beautiful people celebrated their 75th anniversary, with which I want to congratulate them on the stage and wish them good health, inexhaustible vitality, cheerfulness and well-being, - Mazhit Shulenov, head of the secretariat of the Kostanay Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, congratulated the jubilee.

Thanking for the kind words, Anatoly Tarasenko said that the other day handed over the reins of the community to grandmaster Peter Kostenko, expressing the hope that the ethno-cultural association under the strict guidance of the famous Kostanay chess player will develop in a new way, preserving the continuity of generations.

Rudnensky chorus of the Ukrainian folk song "Mriya" continued the concert program with a clockwork song about the main symbol of Ukrainian cuisine. The soloists not only sang about fat, but also treated their spectators. Many songs of the festival participants performed live under the accordion and even akapelno, without musical accompaniment, which very accurately conveyed the whole color and beauty of the Ukrainian soul. A great response was caused by the performance of the instrumental ensemble "Forgotten Melodies" from the village of Karabalyk, led by Sergei Lysochenko. The artists performed a medley of famous Russian and Ukrainian melodies with an original arrangement. Struck spectators an excellent vocals in Ukrainian mendygarintsy, father and son, Tobil Bolatov and Azat Tobil-yli.

The two-hour festival ended with a bright firework and patriotic song about Ukraine. Guests for a long time did not want to let the artists go and applauded them standing up. Leaving the hall, the audience noted that this year the festival was held at a very high level, a colorful exhibition surprised people, which turned around an hour before the concert in the foyer of the philharmonic. The participants were very satisfied with their performances, diplomas and beautiful statuettes, which were handed to each team for a long memory.

"This is not just a Ukrainian festival, it's a festival of friendship and harmony," says Lyubov Frolova, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian community. – I am glad that not only Ukrainians come to the scene, but also representatives of different ethnic groups singing on the purest Ukrainian mov. It's great that such festivals unite us even more and fraternize!
