In the recreation park of the city of Atyrau, the Tatar-Bashkir ethno-cultural association "Frendship" marked the traditional Tatar festival “Sabantuy”. Special guests from the neighboring Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were invited to the holiday.

In translation from Tatar, “Sabantuy” means "a feast of farming", the end of spring work, the working people dress up, go on a visit, sing and dance. This is an ancient Tatar-Bashkir ancient holiday.

On the holiday sports games were organized, the national struggle "Tatarsha korash", games-competitions. The choir "Frendship", creative collective "Yash Buyn", children's vocal group "Baby" showed their skills. Thus, the organizers gave the guests a good mood.

Guests of the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Tatarstan sang and danced spiritually at the holiday of prosperity and friendship, song and work.

During the event, the guests were treated to the Tatar national dish "chak-chak", "dumpty", "tokmach", "chumar", "peremyachi", etc.
