July 26 in the House of Friendship of the city of Taraz arrived unexpected visitor. It was the chairman of the sports committee of the republican Turkish ethno-cultural association "Akhyska", a native of Almaty, 66-year-old Zhelal Mamedov. As it turned out, our honored guest is on his way to Turkestan. The purpose of the trip is to visit the spiritual center of all Turkic peoples, devote prayer to holy places and perform "small hajj". By this act, he intends to draw the attention of compatriots and visitors of the specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 to the shelter of our ancestors and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

According to Wished Bey, he never took up cycling professionally. Although he is a pensioner, he is engaged in public activities and from time to time travels to the Alatau mountains. So, having collected all the most necessary things, last Sunday he set out on his journey. After passing Kurdai and Merke, on the third day he arrived in Taraz. In Dzhambul he was met by the chairman of the regional branch of the Turkish ethnocultural association Mahmutjon Davrishev, activists and the staff of KSU "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of akim of Zhambyl region.

The acting head of the KSU "Komandy Kelisim" welcomed the guest with the words: "Welcome to the ancient Taraz! We are always glad to see you in our House of Friendship! I am sure that in other localities you will be received kindly and with open arms. Bright way! ».

I would like to note that the act of an elderly person who, despite the weather conditions in southern Kazakhstan, possible difficulties on the road and the state of health decided to go so far on a bicycle - worthy of respect.
