In the Palace of Culture named after Kurmangazy, Atyrau, on the Day of the capital, within the framework of the "Caravan of Charity" republican action, the "Two Stars" festival was organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Atyrau region.

The purpose of this charity event is the call to share the kindness and warmth of their hearts. The event is organized to raise funds to help seriously ill children, who need expensive treatment and their parents who are experiencing difficult life hardships.

The deputy akim of Atyrau oblast AI Nautiev, members of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of the region, chairmen and members of ethno-cultural associations, representatives of the blind society, representatives of the republican and local mass media took part in the event.

Children with disabilities and creative collectives of ethnocultural associations addressed the audience with joint concert numbers.

At the end of the festival the deputy akim of Atyrau oblast AI Nautiev and the chairmen of ethno-cultural associations presented gifts to children with disabilities in the amount of 50 000 thousand tenge, gifts and flowers.

According to the results of the project, 1,250,000 (one million two hundred fifty thousand) tenge was collected, fifteen children with disabilities received cash of KZT 50,000 thousand.

Funds collected as a result of charity - 500 000 thousand tenge were transferred to the public association - the Center for Support of Children and Families with deep injuries of the brain and spinal cord "Atyrau - a small country".
