June 23, 2017 the first city beauty contest "Miss Assembly - 2017" was held among the representatives of ethnic and cultural associations of the capital.

The organizers of this event were the capital Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

The beauty contest "Miss Assembly - 2017" was held in order to inculcate modern aesthetic and moral values ​​among young people, familiarize themselves with the color of cultures and traditions of various ethnic groups, and realize the creative potential of the younger generation.

After the preliminary selection, 7 beautiful representatives of ethnocultural associations of the capital took part in the beauty contest.

In the conference hall of Komfort Hotel, those present could see the diversity and palette of traditions and culture of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan.

Speech contestants "Miss Assembly - 2017" began with a business card - a presentation of charming girls, from which we learned about their hobbies, dreams and goals. Bright, creative performances, interviews and presentation of your individual style, and this is only a small part of what the contestants surprised the audience, because every girl showed herself as a true professional of her craft.

The program of the contest was performed by Kazakhstan variety artists and creative collectives of the capital. It was an unusual beauty contest, the task of the participants was to demonstrate national culture and creativity. Charming contestants gracefully defiled in national costumes and spectacular evening dresses. The final contest "Evening Out" won all those present. Enchanting, fragile contestants came out onto the stage for an incessant flurry of applause.

After summing up the results, the jury awarded the winners. The title "Miss Assembly - 2017" was awarded to Anastasia Zhmaeva - Kim, representative of the ethno-cultural association of Koreans of Astana. "Vice-Miss Assembly - 2017" was handed to Bondar Irina, the Belarusian cultural center "Radima" center and "Miss viewers' sympathies" - Zakharchuk Ekaterina, Society of Ukrainians "Obereg".

The participants shared with us the wealth of the national culture, which they represented with dignity. The past holiday of beauty emphasizes the contribution of ethno-cultural associations to the cultural development of our common homeland.
