Kazakhstan delegation headed by Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK) – Head of APK’s Secretariat of the Executive Office of the President RK, is paying a two-day working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani party.

As part of the visit to Azerbaijan, the Kazakh delegation visited the Martyrs’ Lane and the Tomb of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honorary Burial.

Then, an extended meeting was held with representatives of the national communities of Azerbaijan, Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mubariz Gurbanly, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan.

Tomorrow, on February 1, the Kazakh delegation is expected to meet with Gunay Efendiyeva, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University.

Then our delegation will get acquainted with Abai Kunanbayev Kazakh Center, the Heydar Aliyev Center, Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and the historical part of Baku.
