“MY HOME! MY FATE! MY KAZAKHSTAN!” COGNITIVE-LEARNING QUIZ

On the 8th December 2016 “My home! My fate! My Kazakhstan!” cognitive-learning quiz" was held in the press room of the Republican House of Friendship in Almaty.

The event was held in the framework of the national project "Big Country - Big Family" of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by high school students of Almaty, members of ethnic and cultural associations, the Belarusian Center, representatives of the Public Foundation "Salikaly urpak" (Dear Descendant), staff of Support Services of the House of Friendship and the media.

Host: "Belarusian Cultural Center" Regional Public Association, "Salikaly Urpak" Public Fund, and the Support Services of the House of Friendship in Almaty.

With words of welcome the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Pitalenko L.N., opened the event.

Also the Director of "Salikaly Urpak" Public Fund Kasabekov Kasim, the Chairman of the "Belarusian Ethno-Cultural Center of Almaty" Public Association Wojciechowski A.N., and the Associate Professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Zhurgenov Shaimerdenova M.D. addressed a meeting and wished good luck in the quiz.

Then the children took an active part in the quiz, answering questions concerning the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, individuals - heroes who made a contribution to the establishment of the country. The participants demonstrated knowledge not only of the state, but also Russian, English languages. In the framework of the event drawing competition on the subject "Big Country - Big Family" was held.

All participants of the quiz were awarded with letters of thanks, prizes and gifts from the "Belarusian Cultural Center" RPA and "Salikaly Urpak" Public Fund.
