With the support of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the West Kazakhstan region, the German carnival "Fasching" was held in the park of culture and recreation.

On this day in the park, the pedestrian zones turned into a festive area. A carnival procession was held. Participants of the camp "Atameken", "Samal", pupils of the orphanage, representatives of the German "Haymat" society took part in the procession, as well as residents and guests of the city of Uralsk took an active part. Starting from the entrance to the park and up to the stage, children and adults in colorful dresses of characters walked through the square. In the course of the event, German folk games were organized, in which all comers took an active part. A concert program for the guests was also held, and in the end, letters of thanks were sent to the most active participants of the carnival.

On the day of the carnival in many cities of Germany, carnival processions are held, they are also called ZUG trains. The largest marches take place in the so-called "carnival cities", which include Cologne, Mainz, Dusseldorf, Aachen, Bonn, Koblenz, Duisburg. For example, the carnival train in Cologne reaches a length of 7 kilometers and the procession lasts more than 4 hours.
