In the hydro complex of the Taraz State University named after M.H. Dulati, was held a round table dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, on the topic "Tolerance - the road to peace".

The meeting was attended by scientists, teachers and students of the department "Philosophy and Political Science" of the University. Before the meeting, the lecturer of the chair, candidate of philosophical sciences Saken Omarov made a speech.

" Toleration and tolerance today are one of the conditions for securing inter-confessional consent. Religious tolerance today has become a decisive factor in ensuring the peace, stability and economic progress of Kazakhstan. For people of Kazakhstan, the principle of tolerance is not only the norm of political culture, but also one of the key principles of the state, which most strongly supports and strengthens it," Omarov said.

The participants of the round table were unanimous in that the mission of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan from the beginning consisted in the formation of the Kazakhstani identity through the consolidation of ethnic groups of society on the basis of civil, spiritual and cultural harmony, the main role in which the state language and culture of the Kazakh people should play.
