25 years of friendship and cooperation

Two significant dates - the 25-th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Israel, as well as the 69-th anniversary of the proclamation of the State of Israel, celebrated on the 14-th of May, was dedicated to the NGO "Jewish Cultural Center "Shivat Zion". In the conference hall of the House of Friendship the lecture "Israel is far and near" was read with the speech of the chairman of the council of elders of the cultural center, a member of the council of elders of the regional ANC, a correspondent of the regional newspaper "Magnolia" Mikhail Veniaminovich Bunin. The activists of the Jewish ECO and a number of ethno-cultural associations, the employees of KSU "Public contracts" of the apparatus of mayor of Zhambyl region, the senior pupils of the sponsored children's home named after K. Sarymoldayev, students of Taraz Innovation and Humanitarian University and Taraz State Pedagogical Institute came to listen to the fascinating story about the history of the Jewish people and their state, the development and the state of cooperation between our country and Israel

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the leaders of the State of Israel repeatedly stressed the progressive development of the Kazakh-Israel cooperation. It has developed and is developing in many areas: in the implementation of industrial innovations, in agricultural production, in the field of science, medicine, tourism, education, in the military - technical sphere. As Mr. Eliyau Tasman, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel to Kazakhstan, noted, his country is a very serious partner of Kazakhstan. The trade turnover between our countries exceeded 2.5 billion US dollars. Israel buys a lot of Kazakh oil: every fourth liter of gasoline in Israel - from Kazakhstan. Every eighth loaf of bread is made from Kazakh wheat. Over the past five years, thousands of Kazakh doctors have undergone professional development in Israel. Kazakhstan and Israel together advocate the establishment of a deep and lasting peace in the Middle East. The lecture also covered the issues of participation of Kazakhstani Jews in the development of many spheres of social, economic and cultural development of Kazakhstan, which became for tens of thousands of Jews a beloved homeland.
