November 19, 2016 in the House of Friendship in Almaty on the eve of the state holiday of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the celebration of the national holiday of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a solemn event "25 years of unity and creation" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the formation of public association "Uzbek ethnocultural center of Almaty."

Organizers of the event were the Uzbek Center of Almaty with support services to ensure activities of the House of Friendship in Almaty, Almaty SANC, KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" in Akimat of Almaty.

The event was attended by deputies of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament, Vice-President of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, chairmen and activists of national and urban ethnic and cultural associations, members of the regional Uzbek ethno-cultural associations.

S. Pulatov opened and chaired the event, chairman of the Uzbek ethnic and cultural center of Astana.

On behalf of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan on the anniversary of Almaty congratulated the ethnocultural association Khalmuradov R.S., Deputy Chairman of the APC.

With the welcoming speech performed Pitalenko L.N., Vice-President of the APC and read a congratulatory letter from the Director of RSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" N.Kalashnikova.

About how went the formation of the Uzbek ethnocultural association of Almaty, the first years of activity, the people who stood at the origins of this public association told the first chairman Zhurakul Khojanov.

The activities of ethno-cultural associations, is currently aimed at the preservation of cultural identity, the further strengthening of social cohesion and unity, education of youth in the spirit of the Kazakhstan patriotism to the chairman of the Uzbek Center of Almaty Abdullah Ismatullaev.

Also made Karatayev F.A., the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasimov K.T., deputy chairman of the "Akhyska" Turkish Center of Almaty, Abdalieva M., Head of the Secretariat of the APC in Almaty, Ushurov A.A., chairman of the Uighur center Almaty city.

All speakers noted that the Uzbeks as one of the major ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, all Kazakhstan integrated into the socio-economic and cultural environment, feel that they are full-fledged citizens of the country, take a worthy place in the public life of the Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan sincerely consider their homeland.

All conditions for the preservation, development and promotion of the language, culture, customs and traditions of the Uzbek ethnic group are present. There is an Uzbek Theater; newspaper is published in the Uzbek language.  Broadcast on television and radio in the Uzbek language is underway. Funding for the theater, newspapers and broadcasting is carried out at the expense of the state.

Uzbek ethnocultural center of Almaty under the leadership of Abdullah Ismatullaeva, is one of the most active associations of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the solemn ceremony were awarded the most active members of the association.

The organizers of the festive event were invited all interested persons to the State Uyghur Theatre of Musical Comedy. K. Kuzhamyarova, where the presentation of the book "My Motherland Kazakhstan" and the performance of the Uzbek Drama Theater in Shymkent with the production of the musical comedy "Nasreddin Hodja in Sairam."
