29 January 2018 in the Majilis held a meeting of the parliamentary group of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan with the agenda "Era of Independence" – a chronicle of our time", dedicated to the discussion of the book of the head of the state N.A. Nazarbayev "Era Of Independence".

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman – head of Secretariat of the APK D. K. Mynbai, Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan V. K. Bozhko, the deputies of the Majilis, member of the parliamentary group of the APK in the Mazhilis, as well as other deputies.

The moderator was the head of the parliamentary group of the APK S. A. Abdrakhmanov.

In his opening remarks, the Deputy Chairman – head of Secretariat of the APK D. K. Mynbai noted that the "Era of Independence" is a detailed chronicle of the new independent Kazakhstan, revealing all aspects of the Kazakh model of state-building and development. "The special value of the book is that of the Nation reveals not only a unique event outline the history of our Independence, but also a methodological basis, principles of formation of the Kazakh model of development", - he said.

Deputy President of the APK drew attention to the fact that the Head of state consistently revealed as a politician of peace and reconciliation, the APK became the factors of consolidation as stronger stability in all three phases of modernization and cited specific quotes from the book.

In the discussion of the agenda was attended by deputies of the Majilis – K. S. Sultanov, A. B. Tasbulatov, A. P., Rau, M. M. Magerramov, N. In. Zhumadildaev, U. S. Nurumov, A. S. Muradov, S. H. Phaphazov, G. G. Shipovskiph.

Deputy K. Sultanov in his speech remembering how was raota on delimitation of the state border stressed that although the book is written not so much, but these strings are great, the work undertaken on this issue.  I am a member of A. S. Muradov said: "We were lucky to see everything by ourselves, to transform, create, and strengthen. The task of the next generations to preserve and carry through the centuries the flag of Independent Kazakhstan. How to do the President is very clearly prescribed in his book".

Deputy Sh. Nurumov raised the question of the necessity of translation of the book "age of Independence" to other languages.

Speaking at a meeting about the book the Leader "Era of Independence" Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan V. K. Bozhko said, "I'm always meeting people, watching TV shows of that time thought: "... the powers of the President in communicating with its citizens in the early stages of development of Kazakhstan and further throughout the whole period of our state-building?". And once again found confirmation of this in the new book of the President".

During the meeting were discussed issues about the role of the First President of RK N.A. Nazarbayev in the modern history of the country and its future, the experience of building a sovereign state, the Russian parliamentary system, upgrades, as well as topical issues of improvement of the "Kazakh model" of public consent and national unity, its development and evolution, basic principles, mechanisms, driving forces, etc.
