June 10, 2017 hosted a mini-football tournament among youth of ethno-cultural associations of Almaty in the framework of "EXPO 2017: Energy of the Future". The tournament was attended by representatives of the youth of 7 ethno-cultural associations and the team of KSU "Kogamdy kelіsim". Teams were divided into 2 groups, and the winners of these groups went on the next round.

During the qualifying games, 4 teams passed the semifinal: the team of the Almaty Korean National Center, the team of KSU "Kogmady Kelisim", the team of the Tatar Human Development Center "Ildash" and the team of the Kyrgyz ethnocultural association "Muras".

During the semifinal games, the team of the Almaty Korean National Center and the team of the Tatar Human Development Center "Ildash" reached the final.

A tense 20-minute game among the finalists determined the strongest, and the team of the Almaty Korean National Center became the winner of the mini-football tournament among youth of ethno-cultural associations within the framework of EXPO 2017: Energy of the Future. In the struggle for the third place between the teams of KSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim" and the Kyrgyz ethno-cultural association "Muras" the team of the Kyrgyz ECO came out the winner.

The teams that took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places received prizes from KSU "Kokamdi kelіsim" in the form of T-shirts, baseball caps, diplomas and medals. In addition, the winners of the tournament received tickets for the football match between the national teams of Kazakhstan and Denmark. Prizes were presented by the head of the department of KSU "Kgamdyk kelіsim" Dzhumagulov E.E.
