An extended meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on the topic “The state language – a factor of integration of ethnic groups into a single Kazakhstani society” was held online on the basis of the ZOOM platform in Nur-Sultan.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Council of Entrepreneurs of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan and the Mothers' Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, representatives of ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, and the entrepreneurs of the city as well.

During the meeting, the Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Policy of Nur-Sultan L.S. Kusainova noted that the development of the state language is a common duty of all, noting that mandatory work has been done so far. An importance of compliance with the requirements for the business entities in connection with the use of the state language was emphasized as well. She also noted that the Kazakh language club “Deal” was opened in the House of Friendship in the capital, during which the representatives of ethnocultural associations of the capital contribute to the development of the state language. In particular, they began to learn the Kazakh language with enthusiasm and improved their writing skills. In addition, during the lessons of the club, information about Kazakh traditions and customs, that aroused a great interest among the audience, was disseminated widely.

The Charity Center “Parasat”, that was opened in this House of Friendship, is also doing a good job. In particular, the speaker stressed the need to pay attention to the legal requirements for the state language in business, noting that the XXIX session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan focused on the development of the state language, and there should be no misunderstanding of any language.

Therefore, the Head of the department of onomastics and methodical work of the Department of Language Development and Archives of Nur-Sultan, Ermagambetov T.B., focused on the requirements for advertising in the state language, emphasizing the need to respect other languages. The speaker also expressed his opinion on the issue of advertising in business facilities, noting that this requirement is constantly monitored by the board.

The Head of the Department of Human Capital Development of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Nur-Sultan, Rakhmetova A.E., and acting head of MSO “Rukhaniyat”, Kamasheva G.T., expressed their views on the state language. According to acting head of MSO “Rukhaniyat”, Kamasheva G.T., the Kazakh language club “Deal”, opened in the House of Friendship in the capital, is doing its best.

In general, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan has done a good job on the development of the state language. One example is the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan, that helped young people to master the state language within the framework of the project “Thousand children”.
