Anniversary of the Armenian ethno cultural center "Kentron".

It has long been noted that people who are keenly aware of their national identity and cultural unity, build their lives with special reverence in accordance with the customs of their ancestors. The Armenian people managed to preserve their true spiritual wealth - religion, culture and national centuries-old traditions, which they strictly observe, both in joy and in sorrow. For today, traditions such as the strength of marriage, the veneration of elders, the strength and breadth of kinship ties, the custom of kinship and neighborly mutual assistance, hospitality are persistently preserved.

About 1700 Armenians live in the North Kazakhstan region. And today was held the anniversary of the Armenian ethno cultural center "Kentron".

For 20 years now the Armenian ethno cultural center has been working in the North Kazakhstan Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan. Every year its members hold festivals, events, aimed at preserving and promoting their culture and national traditions. The Chairperson of Armenian associations from seven regions, as well as the consul of the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan and the chairman of the association of Armenian cultural centers Nairi of the RK, arrived to the friends on the holiday.

Traditionally, having come for a birthday, the guests brought gifts for the birthday people. The chairman of the Armenian center Gevorg Gevorgyan received a table clock, paintings, designer vases and even a laptop. Friends from neighboring regions awarded each active member of the Center "Kentron", thanked them for their active work and wished them creative success. Also, the North-Kazakhstan Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan was not ignored. The head of the secretariat, Nail Salimov, presented a letter of thanks and three tickets to the exhibition "EXPO - 2017" to Govorg Vardanovich. The Chairperson of the Kurdish, Korean, Polish, Jewish and German centers congratulated their colleagues and friends on such a wonderful day and also presented gifts.

Guests of the anniversary enjoyed a rich concert program, bright dances performed by the ensemble "Native land", and creative collectives of the Armenian center. Particularly struck by the spectators was the diversity of Armenian dances performed by the younger generation.

As expected at the birthday, the birthday men lit a festive cake, made wishes and treated their guests to a friendly table.

The anniversary was a success, for the most important thing is that all the friends came. This centuries-old friendship between different ethnic groups in our country should be stronger every year. And it is so gratifying that every citizen of the country strives for this, and today is another indicator of how peacefully and harmoniously we live together under a single “Shanyrak”!
