November 27-28, 2017 in the city of Moscow, Russian Federation with an official visit was a delegation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan consisting of the Deputy Chairman - the head of the APK Secretariat D.Mynbay, head of the APK deputy group in the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.Abdrakhmanov and other representatives of the Assembly.

Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Federal Agency for Nationalities of the Russian Federation.

The Memorandum provides for exchange of best practices in the implementation of state policy in the field of interethnic relations, prevention of all forms of discrimination based on race, nationality, language and religion, joint social and cultural events, scientific conferences and seminars, publication of scientific papers, joint research and other.

During the signing ceremony, the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, D. Mynbay, separately dwelt on the fundamental principles of the Kazakhstan model of peace and harmony, the implementation of the modernization program of public consciousness in Kazakhstan aimed at the formation of a competitive and modern nation.

In turn, the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities RF (FADN) I.Barinov spoke about the work carried out in Russia on harmonization of inter-ethnic relations, the subject of the memorandum is the organization of interaction of the parties on the principles of partnership in the socio-political, cultural, educational, scientific and information spheres.

Also, representatives of the APK held a series of meetings.

During the meetings with the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation M. Magomedov and the Chairman of the Committee on Nationalities Affairs of the State Duma of the Russian Federation I.Gilmutdinov topical issues of cooperation between the two countries were considered in ensuring public harmony and unity, strengthening of civil identity and unity, new vectors of cooperation were discussed.

At the meeting with the state and public figure of the Russian Federation R.Aushevym, D.Mynbay informed about the main directions of the implementation of the "Tugan zher" project of the "Ruhani zhangyru" program, which aroused interest from R.Aushev, who is a native of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the visit the delegation got acquainted with the work of an ethnographic park "Ethnomir" and invited Russian colleagues to take part in the next session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
